I recently got Folk Horror module _The White Horse of Lowvale_ by Tania Herrero. Is this gorgeous book right for your table? You’ll have to read to find out.

Your comments about reading sections of a module to the players like a storybook—and showing the pictures to the players—really has me wanting a list of modules that work for that!

Oh, I think it would be really cool to see, though I don’t know how practical it would be unless you are a designer like Tania who can provide the art for it yourself. I was imagining how cool _the Black Wyrm of Brandonsford_ would be if an NPC was telling the story of Brandon killing the first dragon and it was accompanied with picture book spreads like this.

picture book sections of a module is a pretty brilliant idea.

I love leaning into the literary origins of RPGs… and making things more bookish. also one big reason I like boxed text. reading a text out loud is cool.
