I’ve decided to make a zine of my book binding process. I’ve shot most of the images and am laying them out in Affinity.
Here’s a sample spread. The top-fold, landscape format should be easier to read on screen. Printed, it should also work nicely sitting above a work space.
To add or change:
- a lightly drawn, cutting mat like, grid in the background.
- a print friendly version. White background with light grid.
- The font is fun, but may actually hand letter it. I can make it text to speech friendly with OCR.
I plan to release it, including images, under a CC license and sell it at cost through Mixam.
