I’m absolutely loving that series by Robert Jackson Bennett.
Your Recollection Vial works like a one time use of the Engravers ability for total recall feom that series. The Bonemold also recalls some of the tech from those books.

I love how Cairn does magical items. Incremental improvements are unappealing but these have a ton of flavor.
