If there were a place where those buried occasionally rose again … but they would not or could not acknowledge those they had known in their previous life … what would you offer to bury there one whom you loved - or hated?
I’d be going for loved; knowing that there is a chance to see them and with some pseudo closure.
But … what is their state once risen? Do they still have the ability to die again through ageing, and what if they already died from that cause?
I initially pictured zombies… but wasn’t too sure; which means … I’d probably opt for hated as communication wouldn’t be on the table.
