Thanks for the hard work. I use it as curated list of blog post I should check. Nice to see I’ve read a few of them already.
I threw together a Google sheet with links to all the nominees and checkboxes to track preferences, for people like me who want to be able to read the nominees and remember our thoughts on them. Bloggies 2026 Personal Bracket Tracker - Google Sheets
Nice! Is it okay if I share this with a couple discords I’m in? Or even share it on the Bloggies page for fans? I’d credit you in whatever way you like.
Share it wherever you want, no credit necessary for me. (I added a Credits tab to the sheet, but that just includes Avi Megiddo, the author of the template I used.)
Thanks for working on this undertaking - it’s a lot.
Also I didn’t even know I was nominated until someone pointed it out.
Everyone else… vote for me! Early and often.
A vote for Gus is a vote for the void! A acknowledgment of entropy’s implacable journey to the absolute.
Voting is live! Please vote. I beg of you.
Did you miss your chance to vote yesterday. Good news: You can still vote today. There’s always a steep drop off after the first round, so I’m hoping for a slightly shorter drop.
Here are the results from Round 1. My favorite thing is seeing how close some of the matchups were. This might be a record year for matchups ending with fewer than 8 votes different.
And here’s where the new ballot for Round 2 is:

Trying to read through the candidates to pick a Best Debut Blog and when did default blog themes stop adding the “next post” button? I’m a simple man; I want to be able to select the first post from the archive, read it, and then click “Next” or “Newer” or whatever and read the next post.
