I don’t know where else to put this question. I’m old. What does FKR stand for in the context of RPG design?

It’s more a play style than an actual design paradigm. The FKR is basically a bunch of movements interested in exploring and expanding gaming, with the influence of “Free Kriegsspiel”-style games.
The shortest explanation I think I can give of it is, any game where:
- Most of the conversation is about the actual fiction as it is happening.
- Where the referee’s rulings are the final adjudicator - any “rules” that may be used are to supplement this when the referee feels it is appropriate or fun.
