Hey, I read in “The Elusive Shift” or “Playing at the World 2E“ that Gygax also made a coat of arms for himself: argent an axe gules.
Heraldry is great fun for castles, cities, queens, etc. in a medieval fantasy world.
Over the years I made quite a few coats of arms. Like this!
It’s great fun! So I thought maybe more people want to try.

And here is my personal favorite tool to make coat of arms.
Ages ago, when my wife and I played in the SCA, I worked with Master Modar to create a device for me. This is what we arrived at.
I’ve been working on a setting & sandbox for my table to play Small Souls in and I made some heraldry for the different factions. Here’s some of em!
