Search & Rescue Mothership Campaign

I wrote this back in December, but figured it’d still be worthwhile for folks who have a Mothership table. The blog contains three barebones star systems, and a suggested 2d10 table of Distress Signals (one-shot modules).

When I ran this campaign, we ended up playing eight of the modules, to give y’all an idea of the approx. campaign length.

This is really nice!

Before assigning rerolls as All Clear, check to see if there might be an adventure that fits a previous theme.

What does this mean? I think I can guess, but I’m not sure.

Say you roll 15. Circle the Flame, and then roll 15 again later. Instead of doing a No Encounter roll, you could replace it with an adventure with thematic relevance (i.e. Rogue Brood, Chiron).

I think I would need to know a lot more Mothership modules than I do, but I see what you’re saying.

True, I am a Mothership sicko. I’m trying to get some more blog posts like these out too, to regroup other thematically familiar modules and help folks get more adventures to the table.
